This float is not ever going to tip or flip over. Incredibly stable in the water. Completely fabric covered with wide, comfortable straps and very secure fastening system. No areas that will rub or cause a rash. We're using it with an 8 month old. The ring around her is so wide that she can't get her hands in the water, but that will change quickly.Putting the baby in the float is very challenging. Almost impossible for one person to do. Instructions say put them in it before you get in the water, which is impossible with a child who can't stand on their own. But once the baby is in the float, they are absolutely safe!
This is one of the best floats I have seen for a baby. She is 8 months old and really seemed to enjoy this float. She seemed very comfortable and content. I love the fact that it has the shade and the tail included with it.

I have to have my little one stand up and have someone help me so she doesn't fall over while I'm buckling her up. She is usually very loud and playful but stick her in this in the water and she's just relaxed and quiet as can be. I love the loop in front I will attach a leash to it put my arm through then take off swimming as she's tugging right behind me. I put it in the trunk while it was went and it soaked up all the dirt ?took the cover off and it washed right out. Very easy to wash. As much as I love it. It is bulky and takes up a lot of room and is extremely over priced.
It was so easy to strap them in it and comfortable that they didn't fuss. They enjoyed and relaxed in it so much that fell asleep while floating in pool. Very well made. Grandma is happy.
