This is such a cute, fun little product. My one year old LOVES the water, and he has a blast in this thing.
The floaty is supportive in either back or front swimming positions. The buckles clip securely—but I do kind of wish the strap that goes across their bottom was a little easier to secure. It becomes loose easily, so I’ll loop it and tie it off a little for extra security. I’m right next to him every time he uses it, so I’m not that worried about it—just something to be aware of if you’re looking to purchase one.
Overall, it’s 5 stars. It works well, looks super cute, and keeps my baby entertained for much longer than I ever expected. Hard to get him out of it some days!
When she was 8m we went to the pool often and she literally would not get out of the floaty. A little difficult to get her in because the straps have to be perfectly aligned but once she's in, she's golden.
Fantastic. Worth the expense for me to have confidence with the baby in the pool. I have three older children to keep track of when swimming, and having a tiny baby in the pool isn't exactly the most relaxing experience for a mom. We are always on the lookout for trouble. This float is really well made and I feel very confident with it's design. I like that it is not inflatable. The foam inside is very dense. My baby is 3 months old and loves the water. She sits in it both belly down and belly up. Only small negative will be that the Kam snaps on the sun shade tend not to grip well. There are four on the sun shade, and one pops open enough to be annoying. I have the means to replace them with more robust snaps, so that isn't a big deal for me. This is not a dangerous 'flaw' it just makes the sun shade life up. I got the deluxe one with the 'leather like' fabric and I like it very much. Feels soft and doesn't chaff my baby anywhere. Big time winner for anyone who wants to take a baby into a pool. I personally would NOT use in water with waves or wake.
