Poor absorbency

The towel looks nice, but the absorbency is very disappointing. It doesn’t really soak up water — the water just seems to sit on the surface of the towel. I wrapped my baby’s hair in it for about 15 minutes after a bath, and his hair was still almost as wet as when he first came out of the bath. Unfortunately, it doesn’t do the basic job a bath towel should do.
